Stroud Farmers’ Market

A lively farmers’ market held every Saturday morning, with stalls selling local produce, baked goods, cheeses, and street food. It’s perfect for a relaxed wander, a good coffee, and people-watching among the Cotswold hills.
Westonbirt
The National Arboretum
Just outside Tetbury, Westonbirt is a stunning arboretum with thousands of trees and woodland paths.
Tetbury Antique Shops
& Highgrove Shop
Long Street is known for its antique shops and interior stores. You’ll also find the Highgrove Shop here, run by the nearby Highgrove Estate of King Charles III, offering homeware and gifts inspired by the Highgrove Gardens.

Highgrove, the private gardens of Their Majesties The King and Queen, offers pre-booked guided tours on selected dates. If timings work with your visit, it’s a special way to see beautifully designed gardens and learn more about the estate. Advance booking is required.
Cirencester Market Town & Church
Cirencester is a charming market town with cobbled streets, independent shops and cafés. Don’t miss the Parish Church of St John the Baptist on the market square, often called the “Cathedral of the Cotswolds” for its impressive architecture.
Castle Combe
Castle Combe is frequently described as one of the prettiest villages in England, with stone cottages clustered around a tiny bridge and stream. It’s a lovely spot for a stroll and an afternoon tea at The Manor House Hotel (requires pre-booking).
Chavenage House Tour
Chavenage is a beautiful Elizabethan manor just outside Tetbury, best known as a filming location for various UK TV series, including Poldark. Guided tours offer a glimpse into its history, interiors and gardens. Booking in advance is recommended.
The Barn Café at Chavenage
Next to the estate, The Barn Café is a relaxed stop for pastries, coffee and light bites. It’s a cosy option if you’re visiting Chavenage or simply exploring the countryside nearby.
